The Oldest Qur'anic Codex Study Project
The Qur’an------- the Holy Scripture of Islam------- is a living miracle, not only from psychological view point but epistemological, canonical and degree of authenticity as well. It is the Book that has been preserved, since its time of revelation to the Last Messenger Muhammad bin Abdullah ﷺ.
BnF Arabe 328 (Codex Parisino-petropolitanus) has been identified as the oldest Qur'anic Codex that dates back to the Caliph Uthman bin Affan (May Allah be pleased with him). For details about this ancient codex SEE HERE.
Alhamdulillah! Darul Hikmah Pakistan has launched a project to compare the whole text of Codex Parisino-petropolitanus (BnF Arabe 328) to the Standard Version of Qur'an, that the Muslims recite today. This project has been named The Oldest Qur'anic Codex Study Project. An example of our initial work is given below:
